I like to be as last minute as possible...

Don't ask why but this morning I woke up with the notion that Anna and I should try to make it KY this weekend for my cousin Kimberly's wedding. And in less than two hours it was done. I have not officially purchased our ticket home yet, but it's a done deal. Tomorrow we will drive south to Baltimore where we will hitch an overnight ride to KY with my other cousin Daniel, his wife, Molly, and there little one Sofie. The five of us will arrive in good old KY sometime early Friday AM. Saturday is the wedding and all the festivities with the Howell clan! Anna and I will spend the week in KY with Mom. One of our main priorities will be to visit my Grandparents who both just moved into a Nursing Home this last week. End of the week (3rd or 4th) Mom will then drive Anna and I to OH where we will spend a few days with my other family, the Salvatoris. Sunday afternoon we will then catch a nice cheap flight on Skybus from Columbus, OH to Philly....and I'm out of breathe just typing all this. Keep in mind that yours truely is 29 weeks pregnant, potty training a 2 year old, and well...pretty worn out from just hosting another life insdide of me. It is probably not the best timing, and I am nervous. So if you can lift us up in your prayers this weekend, they are much appreciated.
If you are in KY give me a call...I'd love to see you...whoever you might be!
Here's to last minute trips...and a REALLY flexible child!!!

Nothing much to say...really...

Well, I got the assurance I need to stay on here. I actually have people who care enough to read about my boring life. I do appologize for the lack of pictures recently. I have some new ones, however they are on our other computer. I just recently switched to using my Grandfather's old computer and we have not downloaded all of the nessecary software. Franco is the only one qualified to do that, and his week is nuts! I'll try to make it happen soon.
I have a new favorite TV Show, and on FOX of all places. It's called 'New Amsterdam'. I highly recommend it. It has a deep plot, good story lines, and mystery...all with a little romance. And while on the topic of entertainment I'll throw out my weekly movie review. I watch at least one movie a weekend, that's right Megan, it's true! This past weekend it was 'Enduring Love' which is based on the same author's work as 'Atonement', Ian Mcwen. Anyway, I enjoyed 'Atonement' in a very heartbreaking way, 'Enduring Love' on the other hand....was HORRIBLE!!! I am almost ashamed to admit I watched it. Very bad. So there ya have it. Daniel Craig may be hot in Bond films...but in this one he'll make you gag! Literally.

Does anyone read this?

The whole point behind this 'blog' was to allow those who liVe far away to connect with our daily life...through words and pictures. However I am feeling as though it's just another thing for people to do and no one is really interestED in reading it! So...if I don't start getting sweet comments...and I do mean a whole lot of them...then I'm shuttin' her down!!! OK, threat time is over!

After shoe shopping for my sweet daughter and doing a whole lot of dishes, and mopping, and cleaning...I'm doing my nightly chill out routine. Hanging out on Facebook and Gmail and now my blog. I am sitting here actually watching my stomache move from side to side as the baby in me moves around like a bundle full of energy. And he kickes hard too! It's kind of cool, and it's kind of creepy. There is this living thing actually moving inside of my body. Sometimes it feels like he's going to jump right out through my belly button! That's never actually happend has it? Cause that would be crazy weird! However strange it feels, it always let me know that He's OK. Alive and kicking! So even though it makes it really hard to rest or sleep, it gives me that much needed peace. If you've ever been pregnant, you know what I'm talking about.

Happy Easter to ALL! God Bless each of you!

One last thought...she'll get it....STEPHANIE I LOVE YOU!

Escape

Whenever I get to the breaking point and need an escape, my wonderful husband holds the fort down while I run to the closest theatre to watch the sappiest or most romantic movie I can find. Last night that happened to be one of those nights, and I went and saw 'Penelope'. Very cute! A fun story with a fun message and a wonderfully romantic ending! I would highly recommend it to all! Well, maybe not the men out there...it's more for us ladies.

Today is 'Good Friday'...and so I'll go ahead and say Happy Easter Weekend to All!! May you remember what this event is all about and may Jesus bless each of you as you celebrate the day! And to anyone who was brave enough to 'give up' anything enjoy having it back!

A Franco a day keeps the Dr. away...

So this week has been rough. I'm starting to feel huge and Baby Boy likes to kick VERY hard. Plus potty training takes a large amount of energy. And I've never stayed in the house for four days straight unless I was sick...I like to get out. Well, last night I lost it. Franco called and I just started to cry, I begged him to come home! This morning my sweet husband stayed home for the morning and played with his girls! We went to a local church here in town that has a huge playscape and Anna ran her heart out. It was good medicine for all of us. Anna and I both have been new people...all we needed was a morning with our Daddy and Husband!
My close friend Andrea had her son yesterday afternoon! I am so thrilled for her, and it gives me an exciting hope for what lies ahead for us. Can't wait!! Only 12 weeks!! June 14th can't come soon enough! But for now Congrats to Brad and Andrea!

I love my Girl!

This week has been a little testing. I'm find patience I did not know I had, and losing it when I thought I had it. Anna has started to ask to use the 'potty', so at the advice of some friends and family we have taken her desire and run with it. It's proving to be a challenge. She has done really well, but I guess I don't know how long it's going to take. Anyone? We've had more success than not, and she loves it when she gets to watch 'things' go down the toilet. She yells "bye bye poop poops". Very funny. But I am getting a little stir crazy. We thought it would be best for me to stay at home for the whole week, so as to focus on this task 100%. Anyone want to come and visit? All this to say...I'll take any tips you've got!!

Some new and big events...

So here are some shot of our first real haircut, courtesty of Grandma Elaine.

This is how Daddy got her to stay still for seconds at a time. Worked pretty well.

I really don't know what she was thinking....just felt like crossing her arms I guess.

No idea where she got this from...but as are in the throws of potty training...she likes to read!

It's nice having friends...

Ava and Anna under the table....who knows why? They just felt the urge.
Hannah and Anna feeling cuddly and adorable!

So every Tuesday we, Anna and I, get to be a part of "Playgroup". It really should be called "The Hour of Struggle". Basically us poor Moms get to referee our children, tell them to share, and NOT to hit...it's a learning experience for ALL! The good thing about it is that not only do us Moms get to visit, but our children love it. I know that for Anna it is a key part of her week...she loves her friends and loves playing with them. It's been a huge blessing.

Today we were a small group. Aterwards, Megan and I, felt crazy and we went out to Vinny's for a casual and cheap lunch! It was really nice. Nice to visit, eat fried foods, and just feel connected. It reminds me again, how grateful I am for my friends...and that they have children to be Anna's friends!

This is me 27 weeks pregnant! I looke about 37 weeks....ahhhh....and I feel about 45 weeks. OK, it's not that bad yet...but he kicks like crazy and man does it feel weird!

I wanna be just like Andrea...

So my dear Andrea, you have inspired me....what else is a Mother of one and a half suppose to do with her day...I mean I'm totally jobless, right? Nope. But somehow I have managed to find time for yet another activity. It could be viewed as meaningless...until I read your last blog and I realized how impacting your words were. I wanted to share my growth, life, dreams, and fears with those I love. Plus that cell phone bill is way too high....so here we go!!!

This is my new favorite picture of my adorable daughter. She likes to put on my shirts and call them 'dresses'. It's very cute and makes for a great full body bib!
