So this picture is just for fun...that's Anna after drinking the juice from her rasberries! Looks like I put lipstick on my child...if you know me at all, you know that would not happen.
Today was a busy day in the Salvatori household. We awoke at 7:30 to go 'yardsaleing'. Nothing fun was found, we were looking for a double stroller or some fun kiddo stuff. We ended the event with just a $3 guitar that Daddy stringed up and Anna is enjoying. I'll try to post pics later, it's a cute site, and just her size! Then Franco worked his tail off rearranging and cleaning out our bedroom. We had to make room for a pack-n-play! Time to start getting ready for Baby Brother! That really did take up most of the day! After that we went to Dinner as a family and then back home for some playtime and bathtime. It was a good and busy day!
Then there is the fun issue of my new 'condition'. GESTATIONAL DIABETES. I am sad and scared all at once. I have to trust that the Lord is in control of my body and the health of my baby! I get to prick my finger four times a day and check my blood sugar levels. As soon as I wake, and two hours after each meal. As long as I eat small, lowfat, NO SUGAR meals...we're good. So lots of veggies, whole grains, protien, and small amounts of carbs. It's not bad, just very strict. Probably how we should ALL be eating anyway. And staring this coming week I have to go to the Hospital twice a week to get Non-stress Tests done on me and the baby. They want to make sure everything is OK. So just keep us in your prayers. It's only 6 weeks away...he'll be here soon!

I'm so sorry about the gestational diabetes! This is supposed to be a fun eating time. :) But I guess you won't have to worry about as much weight after. I'll definitely be praying for you and for little guy to be safe and healthy!
