8 years of pennies...and dimes...

My husband is a patient fella. He worked hard for around 8 years to save for this bike...a 1995 Honda Shadow. Every birthday, Christmas, every penny and dime...he saved.
He enjoyed it in the Fall for a few weeks, and after this crazy cold Winter, Spring has sprung...and he's back!! It's a good bike, and huge bike in my opinion...but it's his. :)

This is him pulling in from work.

Another day at the Park

With 65 degree weather came the chance to go to the park! It was such a nice day...even evoked 'Spring Cleaning'! Anyhow...here's some shots of my pride and joy...my family!

This kid is gonna break hearts!

Yeah, she will too! :)

The love of a Daddy...

Lips were quivering, teeth chattering, by this point...65 became 35 real fast!! Nothing warms you like Daddy's embrace. Bye Bye Sunshine.

New Couch

Our NEW couch!! Brand NEW!! With tags still on it...and it was
FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Our Future Musician or Ball player...or Bookeater?

No joke he picked this up all on his own and started strumming away!

This is what Micah thinks about Daddy and Anna's reading!! Books are yummy to eat!!

Dribbling in for the dunk!!

Micah is my bundle of energy who keeps me constantly on my toes!! Starting to eat finger foods, and even standing on his own for very short moments. He's into EVERYTHING!!! I literally just chase him around and remove him from all the 'no-touches'. Exhausting! He's also talking a ton! So cute!

Our Future Grad Student?

So I thought these pictures were so funny.
This first one is Anna intently listening to her Father as he reads...none other than...

Kierkegaard!!! What three year old doesn't love such reading?

Kisses for Daddy cause she was appreciative!! :)

Now they've moved on to some lighter reading, a book on Italy. That she actually read to him.

This is her reading very intently in our kitchen window. Dora though, not Kierkegaard.

She's pretty cute stuff. 99% of the time she's got me laughing, the other 1% I'm about to lose my head! :) We've entered the wonderful "Three's"!!!!! Lots of time outs, and well...Mommy trying to figure out when I'll stop having to ask her to do everything 20 times! Will a 5 year old be easier?

Personal Retreat - Photo Journal

Day Two

Blueberries from a farm right down the road.

French toast casserole...eaten with syrup from the trees in the back yard!! What!!??

Eggs from another farm, right next door.

My room is on the left. Did I mention I was the only one there...14 rooms...and just me! :)

Headed home.

Thought about trying to make a stop at Dunder Mifflin...but choose to go home.

Speeding my way home..I missed them! :)
