Not much too say....

..who are we kidding...me? Not much to say? Ha!! Ok, well let's say I am sleepy enough that it won't be much tonight.


Today is my 8 year anniversary and in some strange way it feels like it's been much longer...like I don't really remember life before Franco! :) Anna, Micah, and I walked Franco over to the Seminary today and sent him off for 10 days in Italy! I want to be thrilled for him, wish him the best trip ever, but for tonight I just miss him too bad to be noble!
So please pray for him as he's away. That the Lord will bless his time and help the trip be a wonderful conclusion to the last 3 years and all the hard work he's put into this!!
Pray for me and my kiddos...that we will have grace, patience, and make it without the pillar of our home! :(

When Anna turned 3 we told her that pull-ups were of the past....she embraced it, but after over a week of changing sheets every night and sometimes twice a night, well, we had to come up with something. I thought up THE CHART! I told her each time she woke up from a nap or in the morning that she would get a sticker for her chart if she kept the bed dry. And that after she filled the chart...well, you guessed it! We would go out for ice cream!!! Now, you must understand for a kid that NEVER gets sugar, this is serious motivation! :) And guess what, we've been almost completely accident free since!! Super Rocking Awesome Chart we love you!!!

To My Mother....

Happy Mother's Day

Mom, now that I have kiddos of my own, there is a new appreciation for ALL you've done for us over our lives....this list is endless. Sleepless nights, holding us while we puked, wiping our tears when we were sad, bathing, feeding, traveling across the world over and over with us, keeping us safe, clothed, fed, warm, happy, and always putting our need above your own. It's been the big things and the little things...small stuff like showing up to Jessamine County High School with Fazoli's pizza for lunch, or the big stuff like helping me plan a wedding, and loving my kids as much as I do. You are the best Mother any person could ask for...know that all your sacrifices have not gone unnoticed, and we love you!! Wish we could be with you to celebrate...just enjoy your i-pod nano and think of us :)

Graduation Has Come

Saturday May 2nd at 11am, Franco graduated from Seminary!
